Water Canyon Trail

Water Canyon Trailhead is located in Grass Valley just west of Pine Valley. Most people ride the trail to "First Water" (4.5 mi.) or to "Second Water" (5.5 mi.) however the Water Canyon Trail continues and connects to several trails in the Pine Valley Mountain Wilderness; Mill Canyon Trail, Summit Trail and the Anderson Trail.
Elevation gain to First Water is 1,800 ft. The terrain is hardpack with sections of rock and rated difficult due to climb and steep slopes.
